This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 6.75 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.

Pre-Conference: Simulation Summit

The Simulation Summit will be a 4-hour pre-conference event on May 22nd from 1-5 pm.

The purpose is to bring together those interested and invested in healthcare simulation activities to discuss challenges, share experiences and resources, coordinate resources, brainstorm solutions, and report recommendations. The Simulation Summit is for Simulationists, Simulation Specialists, Faculty, Simulation Operations Specialists, Human Simulation Specialists, Educators, etc., from academic and hospital-based programs who work with all health professional disciplines.

The Simulation Summit will be coordinated similarly to a World Café with identified challenges and opportunities to come together to create deliverables and recommendations for the next steps to support the larger simulation community. Following the Simulation Summit, there will be a networking reception with food, beverages, and outdoor activities from 5-8 pm. The Simulation Summit is being coordinated by a regional group of local simulationinsts. The cost is $50 per person.
